God uses truckers to get to my heart
Hello saints! Well, it's been a very interesting few months. I've finally got up the nerve to post my first video blog. This is the only way I see doing a blog about my "on the road experience" being that I hardly have anytime do do anything except eat, sleep and drive. So I decided to video blog it. Let me know if you have any comments or questions. I would be happy to respond. I also purchased a Dashcam to take videos of places I've been. I'll install it soon.
Also, please be in prayer for my family as my wife is trying to handle everything at home and with all of our children while I'm on the road which is practically 90% of the time.
Thank you and God bless you all!

This is my first post for this blog. I am taking on a big lifestyle change right now. the past few months God has been laying on my heart bit by bit with more and more passion to start Truck driving. So with much prayer from my wife and I about God opening and closing doors if He wants me to do this, I have spent the past month going through some intense training to obtain my class A CDL license. Now that I have passed the numerous tests to drive an 18 wheeler, I am now in Chicago awaiting my bus ride to my new Trucking company to start my new venture with PAM Transport in Arkansas. From there after a week of orientation I will enter into a mentorship for at least 2 weeks and if all goes well, I may be driving my own rig after that.
Now, I can already see God at work. Not only has Jesus helped me pass all those tests last 4 weeks but I had numerous conversations with people about Jesus. One in particular gentleman... Gene... needed a ride back to the hotel that we were staying at as trucking students. Gene must have seen or heard something to indicate that I was religious. I could tell he thought that when he said... "oh you're a religious man are ya"? No! I am not a religious man at all! He was kinda taken back by that statement. I said No, I'm not religious, I have a relationship with Jesus. I love Him. I gave Him my life. That was the starting of the next couple of weeks when our conversations were getting more and more Christ centered. I would change the subject but he kept bringing the conversation back to God.
Then, on the day before my last day there, Gene and I was waiting to be tested our final test by the D.O.T. It was a waiting room where many people smoke like crazy to calm their nerves because of the intensity of the test. Well, Gene and I started talking and He said "I prayed for you last night"! What???!!! I said. You prayed for me??? What enormous blessing! He said that he knows I pray to God every morning and he wanted that too! Praise the Lord! what a blessing! I said Gene, The Lord is after you! It was Jesus who inspired you to pray for me! He thought that was incredible. There is so much more to tell about this story but God is at work for Gene. He needs you to pray for him!
Gene, if you end up reading this, I want you to know I love you brother and I'm praying for you still. If you turn to Jesus and ask Him to be in your heart, He will forgive you of everything in your life... and I mean everything!!!
Also Gene, It meant the world to me that you obeyed God to pray for me. if that is the only thing that comes from our friendship, then it was soooooo worth it!
God bless you all! stay tuned for further blogs as I will try to keep you up to date of what God is doing out here on the road as I "Drive with Jesus".
